Learning and Behavior Disorders Advanced Certification P-12 (LBD)

The LBD additional teaching certification takes the knowledge and skills learned during an initial teaching certification program a step further. LBD candidates will identify skills and competencies through self-assessments in each of the LBD courses.
Candidates must be a certified teacher prior to beginning the LBD program.
Candidates must pass the LBD specialty Praxis test for the professional teaching certificate.
Candidates are required to have field experiences with LBD students in P-12 settings.
Courses required in the program may vary based on an evaluation of applicant's previous coursework/experiences.
